Scope
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
What ServerRoam is
ServerRoam is a directory of gaming communities and their game servers. Listings are submitted by the people who run them. We review listings before publication, but we do not operate the listed servers and are not a party to what happens on them.
Account
An account through Discord sign-in is required to submit a listing. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Accounts may not be created to submit the same listing repeatedly.
Your listings
You warrant that you are entitled to list the server and to use the text, names and images you submit. You grant us the non-exclusive right to display that content on ServerRoam for as long as the listing is published. We may correct obviously wrong metadata and may reject, suspend or remove a listing.
Unclaimed listings
ServerRoam may list publicly advertised servers from public information before their operators join. Such listings are marked as unclaimed, show no ratings, votes or player counts, and are neither an endorsement nor a statement by the operator. Operators can claim a listing to manage it, or ask for its correction or removal through a claim or a report. We remove an unclaimed listing on a justified request.
What verification means
A verification mark records that control over the listed address was demonstrated at a specific time. It is not a statement about the quality, safety, moderation or lawfulness of that community.
Not permitted
Impersonating another community, illegal content, links to malware, deceptive descriptions, and automated mass submission or scraping of the directory.
Availability
Core directory features are free. Where configured, optional one-time boosts buy rotating, labelled advertising for the displayed duration and price. They do not alter organic rankings or guarantee impressions, players or availability. The order page shows payment status; returning from checkout alone is not payment confirmation.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability is limited to the breach of essential contractual obligations and to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement. Listings link to third-party content for which we are not responsible.
Ending use
You can stop using the service and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms and will state the reason where possible.
Applicable law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the service develops. The current version is published on this page with its date. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance.
Boosts (paid advertising)
Boosts are offered only to businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB, such as operators of game servers or communities, and not to consumers. A boost buys rotating, labelled advertising for one published, verified server on Home and Discover for the duration shown (7, 30 or 90 days). Prices are final prices including statutory VAT; Stripe processes the payment and issues the invoice. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. The placement starts at that confirmation, or directly after an earlier boost for the same server ends. Up to four boosted servers rotate through the slots. A boost does not change organic results or rankings and guarantees no number of impressions, visitors or players. If a server is suspended or withdrawn because it breaches these terms, its placement ends without a refund. If ServerRoam ends a placement for reasons the buyer is not responsible for, we refund the unused time pro rata. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
